Location made it hard for me to be on the tape trading circuit back in the day, so discovering this band in the 80s would have been hard from rural ohio. Glad I got to hear this now! Rivals all the stateside 2nd wave thrashers ! Recommend ! warchrist30
This one is a personal favorite and a real landmark in the OSDM revival, at least IMO. While there have been plenty of fine albums that you could call OSDM in the time since this came out, I don't think anyone has done better in paying tribute to the old gods (particularly the Swedish and Finnish ones) and still sounding vital and compelling. PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it.
That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter. Matten
