Such an intense and satisfying split release featuring two staples of the US Death Metal scene. Perhaps my favourite Vastum and Spectral Voice songs put to record. The Vastum track is a hell of a fun ride with particularly sickening vocals and the Spectral Voice one is faster than their standard output...for the most part. Glorious! I only wish it were longer.

I score it a 10-9 round for Spectral Voice. They both brought the heat though and scored big blows...I'm impressed. Wish they had a couple tracks each yo. I'll have to peep some more of their shit. Sic artwork. -Jeff
Favorite track: Spectral Voice - Katabatic Depths.

I bought the digital version because I am wearing out the grooves on my physical copy. Both bands offer some of their best material to date.

Hard-hitting new 7" split featuring two of the best death metal bands in the U.S. today. Both bands contribute an unreleased track each around the six minute mark. Layout reminiscent of death metal's early days including hand-stamping and small poster.
A foreboding black-doom metal dirge, meditating on a dark world caked in ash, resulting from all the Earth’s nuclear arsenal detonating at once. Bandcamp Album of the Day Jun 14, 2018
Featuring members of Gatecreeper, Skeletonwitch, and Wolvhammer, Noose Rot deliver a grimy, crushing take on death doom. Bandcamp New & Notable Feb 19, 2018
Oh yes! This is one fantastic beast! A sea of pounding, psychedelic metal vastness and with Jazz Saxophone on one gorgeous track. I'll spend my last few dollars on that! The album is a feat of engineering! 10/10! Aaoka Ai
