Ùlfúð deliver 44 minutes of blackened death, packed to the brim with melodic riffs and unrelenting double bass barragеs. The sound is warm - the sort I would rather expect to hear on a melodeath album - and goes well with the music. It does not fully float my boat yet, but that may very well be due to the fact that 2023 has been absolutely packed with top-tier releases so far. I still starkly recommend that you listen to this album, and keep your eyes peeled for Ùlfúð. This is good!
