Diabolus in Muzaka Good, honest death metal played, written, and produced well. It needs to be played loud to fully appreciate it, so don't write this off if it doesn't grab you through your phone's speaker. It's not doing anything "new" but more of something this good is never a bad thing. It's also concise, which seems to be a lost art nowadays. Favorite track: Masters and Slaves.

Choco Latte Grave Ritual play a fast and fiery kind of death metal. 'Morbid Throne' has a primal savagery that isn't restrained by this killer duo. Instead it's pushed to the limits. Favorite track: Invoker of Heathen Gnosis.

Mark-Oliver if the whole album kicks like this sole song, we have a monster of an sludgy death metal record, that is outstanding in 2015! i enjoy the album, but unfortunately it can't keep the promise "adversary crown" evokes in my imagination. on the other hand "morbid throne" is still fun and worth every dime i've spend. Favorite track: Adversary Crown.

Formed from the ashes of Alabama bred duo Meathole Infection in 2009, Grave Ritual's sole purpose is to create dark and primitive death metal. The band's self-titled demo was released in 2009. A year later, Dark Descent Records released Grave Ritual's first full-length album, Euphoric Hymns from the Altar of Death. Since the release of their debut album, Grave Ritual has focused on perfecting their devastating live assaults, sharing the stage with such bands as Proclamation, Revenge, Black Witchery, and Inquisition. They have played Rites of Darkness II and III, as well as several appearances at Destroying Texas Fest. The band is now stationed in New Orleans. Grave Ritual's highly-anticipated second full-length album, Morbid Throne, is set for release in late 2015 on Dark Descent records.
