Others have mentioned the many positive attributes of this record but the production on this album also needs to be recognized. It sounds amazing and gives separation and space to showcase the endless riffs on display. After this, I'm going to need to revisit "II: Mormophis" again. Fucking awesome.
Favorite track: Cauldron of Souls.
This is a first-class death metal album with clever ensembles and thrilling twists and turns, just like Emperor, while retaining their former atmosphere of mysterious cavernous death metal. ★★★
The third album and follow-up to 2017's "II: Morphosis" sees Lantern continuing on their unique path blending eerie melodies with and top notch riffs topped off by the one-of-a-kind vocals of Necrophilos. "Dimensions" is destined to be one of 2020's finest efforts. <p>

Necrot gives me the feeling I had when I first heard Metallica and Slayer in the 80s. These guys are special. Thanks to Tanner Ellison and the Seek & Destroy metal show on KEXP for introducing me. Ryan Johnson
