A midst the swarming chaos and menacing atmosphere of Antinumerology is some genuine thought. Structures emerge from the wall of dissonance and distortion like buildings in a fog. Extraordinary.
Favorite track: Insummation.
Great improvement over their last album, which was lacking some of the dissonant impact of Antinumerology. Mitochondrion just sound so much more sinister on this 7" (I have the white one).
Favorite track: 137/Antinumerology.
Mitochondrion strikes back with their first release since 2011's full-length, Parasignosis. Two tracks, each clocking in at over six minutes. Mitochondrion's twisted death metal is on full display in this brand new EP. Cover art by the extremely talented, Richard Friend. (Loss, Father Befouled).

I came across Abyssal just a few weeks ago by an email from Profound Lore Records promoting Abyssal's latest offering 'A Beacon in the Husk." This is some solid Death Metal that reminds me of Incantation's 'The Infernal Storm.' Glad I came across this group! Buy this ASAP! Rick Barrios

This young man is a real up and coming force in black metal. His stuff reminds me of The Ruins of Beverast; this is just about as high of a complement as I can give a project, as I consider Ruins to have almost perfected what black metal should sound like. Grandiose and gross (love that vomiting sample); Cthulhu's black metal band. Matthew Arnold
